What We Believe
Our foundational beliefs are rooted in the unchanging truth of Scripture, guiding our mission to empower Keetmanshoop through faith and Kingdom stewardship.
01. The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a divine revelation for all mankind. It is the final authority for faith and life, providing the perfect foundation for our spiritual journey. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21
02. The One True God
We believe in one eternally existent God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and the sovereign Ruler of the universe. Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19
03. The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death, bodily resurrection, and His future return in power and glory. John 1:1, 14; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
04. Salvation by Grace
We believe that salvation is a free gift of God, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It is by grace, through faith, that we are reconciled to God and born again into His family. Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5
05. The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit. Through His empowerment, believers are equipped for service, gifted for the edification of the Church, and guided into all truth. John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8
06. Kingdom Stewardship
We believe in the responsibility of every believer to manage the resources, talents, and time God has entrusted to them for the advancement of His Kingdom and the blessing of our community. Matthew 25:14-30; 1 Peter 4:10
07. The Great Commission
We believe it is the primary mission of the Church to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, making disciples of all nations and demonstrating the love of Christ. Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15
